announces admission to the number of students for 2024/2025 academic year in the following specialties (specialist program) and training courses (bachelor program):
I. Specialist program (on a budget basis):
1. Agriculture, forestry and fisheries (specialties: agronomy; sericulture; orcharding and horticulture; forestry and gardening; selection and seed production of agricultural crops; hydromelioration; mechanization of agriculture; mechanization of reclamation work; agriculture (training of engineer teachers) ; production of vegetable oil ).
2. Veterinary and animal science (specialty: veterinary medicine).
II. Specialist program (for a fee):
1. Agriculture, forestry and fisheries (specialties : plant protection; fruit and vegetable processing technology; processing of meat and dairy products; grain processing; primary processing of cotton; agrochemistry and agro-soil science; ).
2. Technologies of textile and light industry (specialties: fabric production; sewing technology; spinning natural fibers).
3. Applied geology, mining, oil and gas engineering and geodesy (specialty: land management and cadasters).
III. Bachelor's program (on a budget basis):
1.Veterinary and animal science (training areas: animal science; industrial fishing; cynology).
IV. Bachelor's program (for a fee):
1. Economics and management (training areas: economics and agricultural management; accounting and auditing (in agriculture)).
2. Agriculture, forestry and fisheries (areas of training: greenhouse farming; agroecology).
3. Informatics and computer technology (direction of training: information systems and technologies (in agriculture) ) .
4. Information security (direction of training: information security management (in agriculture)) .
The university admits citizens of Turkmenistan no older than 35 years of age with at least a general secondary education, based on the results of entrance exams on a competitive basis.
Documents are accepted in Balkan velayat the city of Balkanabat, School № 21; in Dashoguz velayat the city of Dashoguz, Turkmen agricultural institute; in Lebap velayat the city of Turkmenabat, Turkmenabat Agro-Industrial Secondary Vocational School; in Mary velayat the city of Mary, School № 15; in Akhal velayat the city of Anev, School № 1; in the city of Ashgabat at the S.A.Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University (for Ashgabat and Arkadag cities) from July 15 to 28, 2024.
List of documents:
- application addressed to the rector in the prescribed form;
- questionnaire in the prescribed form;
- document on education (original);
- medical certificate in the form established by the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan;
- characteristics from the last place of study (work, military unit);
- twelve 3x4photographs;
- a certified copy of the work book for employees;
- winners of the state Olympiad for schoolchildren, members of national teams of Turkmenistan, participated in international Olympiads in academic subjects submit the original of the relevant documents confirming these facts.
In addition, applicants, together with the above documents, present and submit to the admissions committee copies of the following documents:
- passport;
- military ID or registration certificate and a certificate from the military commissariat at the place of residence.
The applicant may provide other documents that confirm his non-competitive and (or) preferential right when enrolling as a student.
The applicant bears personal responsibility for incorrectly provided information and unreliable documents.
Entrance exams and enrollment are carried out by the university (Ashgabat) within the following periods:
Ahal velayat – July 31 - August 1, 4 and August 6;
the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag - August 2 - 3 , August 5 and 7;
Mary velayat – August 6, August 8 and 9;
Dashoguz velayat – August 7, August 9 and 10;
Lebap velayat - August 10, August 12 and 14;
Balkan velayat - August 11, 13 and 15 August.
Entrance exams are held in the following academic subjects:
specialties: agronomy; sericulture; agrochemistry and agro-soil science; gardening and horticulture; plant protection; forestry and gardening; selection and seed production of agricultural crops; veterinary medicine; areas of training : greenhouse farming; agroecology; animal science; industrial fishing; cynology ) – chemistry, biology, history of Turkmenistan;
specialties: hydromelioration; land management and cadastres; agricultural mechanization; mechanization of reclamation works; agriculture (training of engineering teachers); areas of training: information systems and technologies (in agriculture); information security management (in agriculture) - physics, mathematics, history of Turkmenistan;
specialties: fruit and vegetable processing technology; processing of meat and dairy products; grain processing; primary processing of cotton; vegetable oil production; fabric production; sewing technology; spinning of natural fibers) - physics, chemistry, history of Turkmenistan;
areas of training: economics and agricultural management; accounting and auditing (in agriculture) - mathematics, biology, history of Turkmenistan.
Entrance examinations are conducted on the basis of curriculum for secondary schools in Turkmenistan.
Entrance examinations are conducted orally in the state language.
Persons who fail to appear for the exam at the scheduled time without good reason or who fail to pass one of the exams are not allowed to take subsequent exams.
Outside the competition, the following applicants have preferential rights when enrolling as students, subject to successful completion of the entrance exams:
- tenants and landowners who have high production indicators over the last 2-3 years, on the recommendation of the etrap hakimlik upon admission to the relevant specialty or field of training;
- in accordance with the provisions established by the Law of Turkmenistan “On Education” (new edition).
