LECTURERS OF OUR UNIVERSITY PARTICIPATED IN THE III INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC FORUM OF FISHERIES
34From September 14 to 21, head of the Animal Husbandry Department of the Faculty of Veterinary of the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University, Saparmyrat Annamuhammedov and instructor of this department, Vepa Mamiyev, participated in the III International Science and Education Forum of the Fisheries Industry, held within the framework of the VII International Fish Industry Forum in St. Petersburg, Russia.
On September 17, S.Annamuhammedov spoke about the development of the fish industry of our country. The ideas on business practices, fisheries development, the status of local fish, species, adapted fish species, and ongoing activities in the field of biodiversity conservation were exchanged within the framework of the forum.
On September 18, an exhibition, reflecting the achievements of fishing farms, societies, companies, and educational centers of the Russian Federation was held. It showed the technologies of fishing, cleaning, salting, packing, preparation of fish meat, processing fish and packaging them in ecologically clean containers, types of canned fish meat, fishing boats, equipment and others. The display of the closed water supply system for the cultivation of trout fish, as well as the presence of equipment and vessels used in the production of seafood and fish, attracted the attention of many.
Representatives of our university participated in the plenary session and closing ceremony of the VII International Fish Industry Forum. Tours to St. Petersburg were also organized for them.
