ONLINE SEMINAR ON "MAGTYMGULY PYRAGY - POET OF TIMES AGES AND HUMANITY"
60Recently, in the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University, together with Tashkent State Agrarian University, on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Pyragy, a seminar "Magtymguly Pyragy - the poet of all times and humanity" was held through the digital network. Professors and students of two universities attended the seminar.
At the conference, the senior lecturer of the Department of Social Sciences of our university, Tazegul Muhammetgulyeva, spoke about the creativity, philosophy, and importance of poems of Magtymguly Pyragy for humanity. She also spoke about the international celebration of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Pyragy's birth in 2024.
At the end of the seminar, Sayora Halmirzayeva, head of the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature of Tashkent State Agrarian University, noted that Uzbek writers pay special respect to Magtymguly Pyragy, and carefully study his poems. Together with his students, she recited some of the poet's poems translated into Uzbek.
The seminar was concluded with words of appreciation to our Hero Arkadag and Arkadag Hero Serdar, who gave the Turkmen people the dream time of the wise poet.
