TURKMEN AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY JOINED UNIVERSITY ALLIANCE OF THE SILK ROAD
25During the Revival of the new epoch of a powerful state, with the efforts of the President, special attention is paid to the development of international cooperation in the state policy in the field of education, to the inclusion of higher educational Institutions of the country in the lists of international level higher educational institutions. As a result of the activities in this field, the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University was included in the "World University Rankings 2025" list of the "Times Higher Education" organization in the year "Ocean of Wisdom Magtymguly Pyragy". As a sustainably growing, "green" higher education institution, it was ranked 474th among 1,477 higher education institutions from 95 countries in the "UI GreenMetric World University Rankings".
On the threshold of the New Year, the good news is that the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University was the first in the country to be accepted into the University Alliance of the Silk Road (UASR).
As our Hero Arkadag pointed out, the Great Silk Road connected the worlds in the past. Turkmenistan has taken a central place on the stage of history as the heart and driving force of this international trade and cultural route. The exchange of knowledge and experience through the renewed Great Silk Road, cultural relations contribute to achieving high standards together.
The University Alliance of the Silk Road is an educational organization established within the framework of the People's Republic of China's "One Belt, One Road" foreign policy initiative. It was established on May 22, 2015 to support the economic development of countries along the Great Silk Road and establish cooperation in the field of education. The Secretariat of the Union is located at Xi'an Jiao tong University in Xi'an, China.
The main tasks of this international association are to develop interregional and intergovernmental friendly relations, to support development through peace, to establish mutually advantageous educational and cultural relations, to exchange between universities, to support talents, and to conduct joint research projects.
It should be noted that the representative of S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University took part in the forum "Developments and innovations in higher education in the period of new technological reforms" of the Union of Silk Road Universities in Xi'an, People's Republic of China, on October 7-9 last year.
We wish Hero Arkadag, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, who is at the head of such great achievements in the education system of the country, sound health, longevity and success in all their undertakings.
