UNIVERSITY LITERARY ASSOCIATION ESTABLISHED
54Honorable President of our country sets the tasks for the higher educational institutions of the country, such as directing students to literature, identifying and encouraging talented young people, in accordance with the spirit of the new age. Guided by the words of our Arkadag Hero Serdar: "I wish the Turkmen youth to love literature, live and create with pride in the history and spiritual wealth of the people, the past and future glory of the people", in order to support the creativity of young poets studying and working hard at the university, to develop mentoring, to teach young people the fine secrets of speech art, to educate young people in the spirit of patriotism, to promote the emergence of creative abilities, to widely promote our classic, national literature, outstanding examples of world literature among students, and to develop the creative potential of young poets "Garagum" Literary Association of S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University was established.
The establishment of the Literary Association in 2024, the year of the "Ocean of Wisdom Magtymguly Pyragy", the 300th anniversary of the birth of great thinker and classical poet of the East Magtymguly Pyragy, has a special meaning. His work will contribute to the development of the teachings of our ancestors in a new spirit and in a broad scope during the Revival of the new era of the Powerful State.
Mainly students of S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University and young people of all professions can attend the meetings of the association. Also, university professors, leading writers, poets, and journalists will be involved in his work. At the meetings, they will review the creations of young people interested in poetry, prose, and journalism, and give relevant advice.
