UNIVERSITY'S POEMS COLLECTION IS PUBLISHED
74On the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Pyragy and the declaration of 2024 as the "Ocean of Wisdom Magtymguly Pyragy" year, professors and students of S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University prepared a collection of poems titled "Voice of the Ocean of Wisdom". The Turkmen State Publishing Service published it on the eve of the day of poetry of Magtymguly Pyragy and the Day of culture and artists. The book begins with the words of the President of Turkmenistan about Magtymguly Pyragy, the poem "Ocean of Wisdom Magtymguly Pyragy" by our Hero Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan. At the beginning of it, the preface of the rector of the university, Allaberdi Gapurov, entitled "Voice of the Turkmen soul" was placed. The book contains the works of 80 authors from the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov, including the poems of students and teachers of the agro-industrial secondary vocational school in Ashgabat, Turkmenabat agro-industrial secondary vocational school, Bayramaly agro-industrial secondary vocational school. The book is decorated with beautiful pictures dedicated to Magtymguly Pyragy.
As stated in the collection of poems, the declaration of 2024 as the year of "Ocean of Wisdom Magtymguly Pyragy", the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Pyragy's birth, excites the hearts of all our citizenhood, including academics, professors and students. During the Revival of the new era of powerful state, special attention is paid to studying the life and creativity of Magtymguly Pyragy, his literary heritage and spreading it to the world. The works of our Hero Arkadag, Arkadag Heroe Serdar, are a priceless creative school and provide spiritual revival of the people.
On the occasion of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Pyragy's 300th birthday, at the meeting of the Permanent Council of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), the country's initiative to declare 2024 as "the year of the great poet and thinker of the Turkic world Magtymguly Pyragy" was unanimously supported, as well as the inclusion the collection of the poet's manuscripts in the international list of the "Truth of the World" program of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and in the list of significant dates to be celebrated together with UNESCO in 2024-2025, the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Pyragy, the construction of a huge statue of Magtymguly Pyragy in the foothills of Kopetdag, inspires the generations to honor the life and creative heritage of the great poet.
