A MONTH OF BOOKS READING IS GOING ON
70In June of the year “The Ocean of Wisdom Magtymguly Pyragy", a book reading event is held at the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University.
In the chapter "The source of education - the book" of the book "Continuation of the meaning of my life" of our Hero Arkadag, in order to develop a literate society in the country in the future, the initiative to announce the unity of reading books is put forward. Our national leader said: "Every year in September, we announce the month of road traffic safety. We have all witnessed that it is very effective. In the same way, it would be more appropriate if we declare the month of reading books every year in our country,'' he says, putting forward a visionary and wise initiative. It is clear that this month will be fulfilled if activities related to books are held in all places of the country: at schools, universities, libraries, cultural centers, institutions and businesses, and most importantly - if conversations and discussions related to books are held at homes. Also, if artistic readings are arranged during the month, if only noble and good works such as book sharing and gifting of books are established, this noble action will become an important principle for our society. Our Hero Arkadag says "The most important thing is that through the book, one can improve the personality, which is a valuable treasure of the society. Another clear wisdom of the book is that every book we read takes us one step higher.”
Based on this noble initiative, to promote the meaning of the books of our Hero Arkadag, Arkadag Hero Serdar, the works of Magtymguly Pyragy and other great personalities, to successfully conclude the academic year and to ensure that students spend their summer vacations and free time effectively, in order to develop personality and worldview, to increase the love of books, large-scale activities were launched in association with reading books.
Some competitions organized by the Department of Languages are held among the students of our university such as, A book is the best friend. The presentations are about the world famous word masters’ monuments of whom are in the cultural-parking complex of Magtymguly Pyragy.
As part of the scientific and practical conferences, the work of the sections is organized on the fact that the book is a lamp that illuminates the future and the paths to be walked. In the organization of scientific clubs of the university, contests are held for students to read literature related to their professional fields under the name "The future of mankind - in the hands of those who read a lot".
The publication of the collection of poems "Voice of the Ocean of Wisdom" dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Pyragy of the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University was a wonderful gift.
