The results of the international scientific-project competition
163On the occasion of June 5 - the World Day of Environmental Protection, celebrated in the year of Happy youth of Arkadag Serdar, an international scientific-project competition "The role of youth in achieving the goals of sustainable development" was organized by the S.ANyyazov Turkmen Agricultural University.
A total of 123 projects, including 93 from Turkmenistan and 30 from foreign countries, were submitted to the 1st stage of the scientific-design competition held among students of higher educational institutions of the country and foreign countries. Students and professors of prestigious higher educational institutions of Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russian Federation, Republic of Belarus, Malaysia, Hungary and the Kingdom of the Netherlands actively participated in the international competition.
The competition was held in 2 stages, dedicated to the key objectives of the Sustainable Development Goals. 70 scientific projects were submitted to its 2nd stage, and the authors of 32 of them won prizes. Students are modern in its areas such as "Clean water and sanitation", "Affordable and clean energy", "Combating climate change", "Eliminating hunger", "Preserving the marine ecosystem", "Preserving the terrestrial ecosystem". they presented their solutions and answered the judges' questions.
Jurors from the country and abroad appreciated the modernity, urgency, innovation, scientificity of the scientific projects, the possibilities of their implementation and industrial significance.
Based on the total number of points collected for all indicators, the students who won the first, second and third places in each field are awarded with diplomas and souvenirs.
The results of the international scientific-project competition "The role of youth in achieving the goals of sustainable development" testify to the joy of the ecological knowledge and creative ideas of the students of the country, as a result of the science and education policy of the President, the possibilities of the education and science system are being actively implemented in ensuring environmental well-being in the country.
