OUR STUDENT BECAME THE WINNER OF THE BUKHARA INTERNATIONAL MATHEMATICS OLYMPIAD
5January 25 to 29, 2026, the International Olympiads in Mathematics and Chemistry among students of higher education institutions were held in the city of Bukhara, Uzbekistan. Students of higher education institutions of our country actively participated in the competition, organized by Bukhara State University in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Our compatriots showed excellent results in this prestigious educational competition, winning a total of 46 medals - 17 gold, 17 silver and 12 bronze medals.
The Olympiad consisted of several rounds and held in the form of individual and team competitions. More than 500 students and 100 teams from more than 10 countries, including Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Russia, China, India, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Jordan, and Tajikistan, participated in it.
At the Bukhara International Mathematics Olympiad — 2026 (BIMO — 2026), exercises and tasks on mathematical analysis, linear algebra, number theory, and combinatorics were presented. Bazar Annamov, a 3rd-year student majoring in Hydromelioration of the Faculty of Hydromelioration of our university, took 2nd place and was awarded a silver medal.
The international successes of our higher education institutions are evidence of the lofty goals and progress of professors, teachers, and students, inspired by the slogan of the year "Independent Neutral Turkmenistan - the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses".
