CELEBRATION ON THE OCCASION OF THE YEAR “INDEPENDENT NEUTRAL TURKMENISTAN — THE HOMELAND OF PURPOSEFUL WINGED HORSES”
8On 6 January 2026, S. A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University hosted a festive musical event titled “I Have a Horse — I Have Wings,” dedicated to the declaration of 2026 as the Year “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan — the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses” with the participation of faculty members and students.
It was emphasized that the esteemed President, supporting the joint proposal of the members of the Mejlis and the people, proclaimed the slogan of 2026. This decision aims to further glorify the independence and sovereignty of Turkmenistan, celebrate achievements in politics, economy, and culture, enhance the international prestige of the country, elevate the glory of the Akhal-Teke horses, and educate the younger generation in a spirit of pride, love, and respect for independent and neutral Turkmenistan, while preparing for the 35th anniversary of independence.
Participants enjoyed musical performances by the university’s “Altyn Asyr” Cultural Center. During the celebration, heartfelt congratulations were extended to the Hero Arkadag, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, and the entire nation on the occasion of declaring 2026 as this commemorative year.
