STUDENTS OF THE TURKMEN AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY NAMED AFTER S.A. NIYAZOV PASS INTERNSHIP IN UZBEKISTAN
27In the International Year of Peace and Trust, international cooperation of our higher education institution is becoming increasingly successful. During the period of study and production internships, our students are provided with ample opportunities to consolidate their theoretical knowledge in practice abroad.
From July 6 to 17, 1 teacher and 10 students of the Faculty of Hydromelioration and 1 teacher and 10 students of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization of the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov undergo internship at the Tashkent Institute of Engineers of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization of Uzbekistan. As is known, on April 23, 2018, an Agreement on Cooperation was signed between the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov and the Tashkent Institute of Engineers of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization. Students and teachers participating in the internship organized within its framework were warmly welcomed on Uzbek soil, and a rich educational and cultural program was prepared for them. Its main goal is to consolidate the theoretical knowledge of students in practice, exchange experiences, and further strengthen friendly and brotherly relations.
Our students and their supervising teachers were introduced to the history and current activities of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers, their contribution to the development of the country's agriculture. They visited the educational buildings, laboratories, and indoor and outdoor sports grounds of the partner higher educational institution and got acquainted with the opportunities available there. They also toured the museum, which introduces the history of the institute and the country's agriculture, the improvement of tractors and agricultural machinery. An active participant in events and scientific and educational competitions held in the country, a scientist, professor of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers, Ilhom Begmatov, and other teachers shared their theoretical and practical experience in irrigation, mechanization, and engineering in agriculture.
They also visited scientific and educational institutions, rural and water management facilities, and historical and cultural monuments of Tashkent. As part of the visit, they were acquainted with the modern digital system for organizing student training and monitoring its results of the Limited Liability Company "Smart Solutions System". As part of the internship, Uzbek specialists talked about the equipment used in the country's water industry, "smart" technologies, and water meters.
It should be noted that from June 25 to July 4 of this year, students of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers of the Republic of Uzbekistan underwent an internship at the Turkmen Agrarian University named after S.A. Niyazov. Such internships are very effective in developing Turkmen-Uzbek friendly relations, mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of education and agriculture, and mutual exchange of experience in the field of agricultural education.
