AN EDUCATIONAL METHODOLOGY CONFERENCE OF PROFESSORS AND TEACHERS OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES WAS HELD
69On April 16, an online methodological conference entitled "The Importance of Using Innovative Methods in Teaching English to Students Through Conversations" was held at the S.A.Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University.
This conference was held in honor of the International Year of Peace and Trust, the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent Neutrality, based on the "Plan of the Coordinating Council for Language Teaching of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan for 2025." Professors and teachers of foreign languages from higher educational institutions of the country attended this conference and made their presentations.
The speeches also emphasized the importance of learning languages through conversation, students' mastery of foreign languages not only theoretically, but also practically, and the use of digital technologies, mobile applications, virtual dialogues, artificial intelligence, and creative game methods in this regard. As it was noted, specialists who are fluent in foreign languages are the guarantor of the happy future of our country. Learning foreign languages is of particular importance at a time when our country's economic strength is growing and international cooperation is gaining momentum.
At the conference new methods of teaching English that meet modern requirements, their effectiveness, and the possibilities of introducing them into the education system in the future were also discussed.
The conference participants wished our Hero Arkadag and our esteemed President good health, long life, and success in their endeavors for the vast opportunities they create in the national education system.
