Distance online seminars are of great importance in studying the best practices of foreign countries and combining them with national achievements in professional education.
On March 20, S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University hosted an online distance training course on “The impact of fertilizers used in agriculture on quality of cotton fiber” with the participation of teachers stuff and students of the Belarusian State Agrarian Technical University. The head of the Department of Primary cotton processing of Textile Production Faculty of our University, senior lecturer Amanmyrat Yaryyev spoke about the achievements in the development of cotton production in our country.
Information about intensive technologies used in cotton production, influence of agricultural fertilizers on yields and their positive influence on improving the quality of cotton fiber aroused great interest among the participants of the online lesson. During the lesson, an exchange of views took place with the academic staff of the partner university on research work in the field of improving the quality of cotton fiber.
Similar classes were also conducted jointly with the National Research University “Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers”, the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy and foreign specialists from John Deere Company. Irrigation methods, goals and differentiation according to the conditions of their application, and zoning of irrigation methods were considered. Irrigation sources, requirements for them and water quality, organizational forms of cooperation and integration in the agro-industrial complex, importance of “Altyn asyr” Turkmen Lake in development of saline lands, importance of protective forest belts in improving the ecological condition of agricultural land, the quality of electricity: sources of distortion, impact on consumers, regulation and ways to improve, STEM methods in teaching specialized disciplines, features of design and operation of John Deere combines, knowledge about evaluating the effectiveness of investment projects and modern experience were also studied.
